put my rear arms on today and got it working fine only problem is when the handbrake is on there is about 1/4 an inch of movement backwards and forwards , seems to me to be the pads rocking on the inside of the bell , is this normal ? also when i take the handbrake off and spin the wheel it binds in one direction for a split second and then free's off , did not have time to investigate as i had to come to work , any idea's or even better a guide to setting the handbrake on the net somewere
cheers in advance

What year arms? Bug cables, or Porsche and bug cables? How did you measure outside brake shoes to inside brake rotor? Do you have new e-brake cables?

the arms are 85 steel 944 , the cables are standard irs cables with vdub customs convertion pieces , as the shoes were brand new i set everything at the minimum , i have been on the pelican parts website and i may have not set the top adjuster correctly , i did not realize that the top adjuster was as critical as it apparently is, well 3 hours sleep in the morning and a day working on it should sort it out

Oh, I thought you may of had '86 ali arms. I have '87 ali's with Vdub Engineering's conversion clips. I think there's a parts diagram on www.944online.com. I don't remember if Pelicans has one. Sorry, I can't help with your steel arms.
