Well, I'm not doing the last body work myself, it's done by Kaag Kevers (http://www.kaagkevers.nl), a Dutch aircooled specialist. They are doing some real good work! Doing it myself would not give that good result in that short time :p

The color will be Capri Blue (L335):

On the 6th and 7th of January, last week, there was an big indoor event (http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/photos.php?id=167) in the Netherlands, and I had the honour to show the first results of the restoration at the area of the company (http://www.kaagkevers.nl) that did the painting.

So I had to make a first mockup, to get it rolling:
http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fotos/thumbs/44246.jpg (http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fotos/44246.jpg) http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fotos/thumbs/44245.jpg (http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fotos/44245.jpg) http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fotos/thumbs/43868.jpg (http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fotos/43868.jpg)

I placed some 10mm spacers at the front, in order to achieve factory scub-radius again. Scrub-radius also named kingpin-offset is responsible for the self-aligning of the steeringwheel and the feeling (of loosing traction) in your steeringwheel. Without the spacers the scrub-radius would be near zero/neutral, something you don't want with a Germanstyle car!

Some explaination: scrub-radius is 'A':

Thanks! But I really don't know how much the car is lowered, because it's build with parts from several cars. So I haven't got a reference.

However, I noted that this thread isn't updated anymore, so here are some new pictures from (more than) a month ago.

LED turnsignals, behind the horngrills and 911 lenses:

Ahnendorp Road Racing exhaust (little bit too large for the current 1600, but suitable for future plans):
