Officers Elected

Ok we have elected 4 officers as follows

IT/Admin: (I get a bad visual of him in a short skirt when I say secretary) is Zen aka. Zen

Chief Finance Officer: Beth aka. Massive79vert

Promotions/Event Coordinator: Nigel aka. Yellow73

Prez: Well that falls on me Dave aka NO_H2O

Each officer my depending on what is on their plate, may need help to keep up with their duties and will call on other oficers and members from time to time. We do not want to burden anyone to the point that the fun is gone.
We will have another meeting this Fri. night 3/31 at 9:00 pm to discuss our direction for the upcomming year and other club matters. It will be open to all members, sponsers, and interested parties. It will be held online in the "chatbox" on the VKG website www.volksport.net (www.volksprot.net) . You must register on the site to enter the chatbox.

I failed to mention that Oasis is gearing up to start a newsleter with th help of everyone to get our members up ot date on what the club has been up to in the past few months.

This is in effect a small version of a double-post as I asked this on another thread already -- Is there a copy or a direction to a previous newsletter?

I look forward to doing it even if it is my first time in the electronic sense.

we used to have previous news letters online and I believe they were
formatted very nicely. Ask Zen if He has a copy, because all I have is
a word doc of a previous newsletter that I contributed to the final letter.

I think the newsletter was online in a PDF file. Zen might have one around. I have changed hard drives and don't have one anymore.

well, i thought i had republished the old newsletters on the new site, but believe i ditched the effort due to conversion time. i still have them in PDF though and will get them back up there.

moving forward though, oasis, i had already started work on the next newsletter structure. i have elevated your rights on the site. you left side navigation area should have a bunch of new links now. just go to content/books/"VolksReport - Winter...". it will give you a list of book pages i had created as stubs that you can just go in and add content. you can browse to other pages and do an edit on them to see example code of putting pics in if needed or better than that there is a "compose tips" in your left nav bar that will be a big help. let me know if i can answer any questions.
