Im planning to run 16x7's ET:33 with 55 series tires on my '72 standard bug with stock fenders. I plan to have a narrowed beam with dropped spinadls, but Im not sure if I will need a 2in or 3 in narrowed beam (I would like the edge of the wheel to be inside of the lip of the fender). I would try to measure things out for my self but I am at college and away from my car.

I I was also wondering if any one has an idea of what my turning radius will be like with set up?

I know that this has been asked many times but nothing with this specific ET, so any info would be great.

thanks,
Eric

If you can find a good reference articleon the forums, you should be able to extrapolate the dimensions you have onto those that you find with some simple math.

is it possible to narrow a beam and leaf springs, 2in, DIY? I just bought a new stock beam (a couple hundred miles ago), and now I want to put drop spindals on and wider tires but I dont want to have to buy a nother brand new beam. is there any alternative besides wider fenders. are there any shops in the northwest (US) that will narrow a beam for less than the cost of a new one???

any info would be great. thanks.
