COOL! I think I saw your car the other day @ Hwy 6 and Sweetwater Blvd - I am @ Hwy 6 and West Airport.
I am working on a 66 GL now. You should come check it out.

you know there are few ACVWs and even some ACPorsches in the sugarland area but i usually see an old FC beetle or baja about every month and i wave but nobody acknowledges me, it's rather disappointing, i wanted to start a sugarland VW club but it would be a rather small consisting on myself, my friend that has a '72 bug, and perhaps this other guy in my neighboor hood that has a restored '63 stock bug, but i've never met him. well my friend sold the '72 bug to me, and that guy is storing his bug in his garage now, so much for a club.
Anywho i always go to the little car show at Otto's Barbeque on the north end of the Fountains Shopping Center every Saturday night @ 7pm or so.
Theres a guy i met that has a school bus yellow '69 Squareback as well as a black '74 Ghia and another man with a chop top '57 bug. We all just hang out and talk about VWs
So come out there and show your VW with us! :)

Scott I live at 529 & hwy 6 and am considering the same wheels you are for a Beetle. I was looking at a small size though, 17 X 7 front and rear and have some adapters to go from 4X130 to 4X100. I am now just trying to figure out exact tire and wheel offset to fit.

Hey Scott, I need some motivation my self. I havent had any money to buy parts for the Oval in a long time. I had to do a valve job on the Volvo so all my car money went to buy parts and machine work. About $650. Still Looking for a Corvette C4 front suspension cheap! I am driving the Super every day now. I need a new trans for it if you have one or know someone with one. My spare had a hole in the case. Hey Mexibeetle, I live in Copperfield. My Super has 17X7.5 on 4X100.

I'm in College Station (not in school anymore, I'm a working professional) and am working on rebuilding my '73 Super again to put it back on the road. Its not H-town but I'm close in a Texas sort of way.
