door lock adjustment problems...

I have a 56 Oval and I am now in the process of assembling the car back together. Before I installed the ice pick door handles I tested the door lock mechanaism, worked great with my finger which compresses the push in tumbler to open the doors. I then installed the handles and now both doors are stuck and wont open. HELLLLLLLLLLLLP

I have no door skins on the door but have installed the outer door seals :eek:

What's up haven't heard from you in awhile. How is that 2.6ltr comming along. Sorry i can't help out with the door as i have mine to do also.
