View Full Version : kerscher struts - where?
Hi All
where would be the best place cost wise to get kerscher struts from for my 1302 cab?
think theres only a couple of places in the uk so maybe some websites in america would be handy and ship them back as im sure it must be cheaper than here.
thanks :)

Kerscher are German, so buying from America won't save any money, even if there are any suppliers over there. I bought them direct as M7 didn't have any stock, shipping was cheap too and they speak English.

thanks for that thought they might have been cheaper over there.

Just call them, they speak English. I got front struts and the heavy duty anti-roll bar for slightly less than M7 price for just the struts from memory and they were sent quickly.

price for 1 coil (part-no:7080111KER) is EUR 58,-- incl.tax + freight.

I think I spoke to Monika too, she spoke good English and we had no confusion. Looks like you got quoted for a single rear koni red damper and a front spring!

I kind of got lost on this thread of what was wanted, what was quoted, and what was thought to be quoted. This may be a needless reminder but make sure you get a quote on shipping.
I was quoted £440 from Machine 7 for Kerscher front struts in 2004. Shipping to the USA was another £120. That was over a grand when doing the currency conversion at the time, and I am sure the conversion isn't much better two years later.
I do realize the discussion is not with Machine 7 in the UK but I just want to make sure shipping costs across the Atlantic doesn't become an unexpected thorn.
