Hi guys..

i am new to the forum so hello all...

does anyone know anywhere where i can get some kerscher adjustable front 2 bolt struts as i heard you can make a massive saving by buying them in the ze germany and import.. failing that anywhere else that would undercut uk prices as i have heard these things are the canines gentalia and improve greatly on standard adjustable struts.. to be honest i am lookin for more comfort with my low ride height and not just concerned with performance..

just got my 1303s euro looker on the road at the beginning of the year.. i love it!!
good to talk to some other german lookers as you dont see many on the street!!
but as soon as i thought about doing a resto i knew it was the look for me!!
awesome gallery by the way and good chat..

cheers

see other thread for purchasing details.
The progressive springs give an incredibly good ride, I'm very happy with mine! The only -ve I would say is that the camber is adjusted with a slot in the top hole so it's a bit hit and miss fine tuning but that's only an initial set-up thing. The dampers are bottom adjustable too so you have to take them apart to adjust the damping (Konis)

Kerscher modified the design slightly a few years ago- The elongated hole was extended towards the strut body, to gain more negative camber, possibly based on feedback from the 944 stub conversions which need that bit more..

Mine came with the guides for VW Golf/944 type eccentric bolts to make adjustment very easy. I've since removed that arrangement and cut for a max of ~2.5deg -ve camber at the strut, with the centre bolts set to minmise the front track.

The range was too small for to meet everyones needs, they were perfect for stock spindles.

This is how I adjust the struts, takes about 15mins each side:
