View Full Version : Swapp 944 Porsche Rear Axles In The Bus Split

HELLO

I'm a french man who's live in belgium . I have a Combi split of 1967 11 WINDOWS.

I want change my engine by a flat 6 Porsche but i kown , i must change a gearbox by a 901 or 915 and my rear axle for IRS Conversion .

What do i do ? Have you got a conversion kit ? and the work is hardderst ?

I have a idea . Can you fix the 944 ARMS in the rear axle of the combi ?

If you use a 911SC gearbox the 944 CVs should bolt straight on. To my knowledge there are no kits for fitting straight to a splitty unless you use bug@5speed's conversion parts for type 1 conversions and it should be quite similar.
