will need the alloy armed version of a 1985 car -944 -951 part number, but dated 1985 -the hub is narrower, similar to a steel armed 944 hub, the splines however are different
PLUS the drive shafts will be 28mm too short
narrowe your torsion housing 28mm each side -it will be better in the long run, as the wheels will fit nicer
-the hubs are narrower
-will still be really tight
-the torsion housing is the same diameter - so cut off the inner mounts and weld in
-cut the springplates to match the 944
-if you buy weld on beetle irs, and use type 1/3 irs -same as 944 - the position is wrong, as the bug torsion hosing is thinner

-although more work, i'd weld in the complete 944 rear torsion housing, -on a ay you don't have the frame horns, you will have to fab a gearbox mount though

Do You Want Another Pair Of The Wider Hubs And Stub Axles?
-as I Can Get Another Set - I Think
-quite Cheap

actually the stub axles i got are the ones with the few wide thick splines and the hubs i got from u are the ones with the many small and thin splines, so i guess id go for another pair of hubs, since my stub axles fit the arms perfectly.

the hubs i sold you will only fit an alloy arm
-they are 944 turbo -951
-if your stub axles are 100mm and not coarse splined - bug splines, then you will need the hubs from a pre 85 steel armed 944 or 924 's'
