Hi.

I'm in need for advice, about what discs i can use.. To fit my conversion they need to be about 285-290 mm and 22-24 mm thick. (preferably 24 mm).
And they need to be able to sit on hubs made from turned down VW discs (5x130 offcourse)

Anyone know what my options are?

Thanks in advance and merry christmas!

My suggestion would be to ask Lanner (Vdub Engineering) He does brake conversions all the time. He has his own section on here called Vdub Engineering, or maybe He will see this thread, and reply here.

You didn't mention your chassis aplication, but Boxster setup fits your requirements. 290ishx24 rotor with 4 piston brembo caliper. I've got a setup going with turned down disks right now. Only drawback is the lack for wheel center, although something could be done.....

Thanks..

They're going on a Type 3 disc spindle. Calipers are 944 Turbo 4 pots..
You have a part number on those Boxster discs?

Thanks again!

The 944 4 pot caliper are not compatible with the Boxster disks. 944 Turbos are 28mm wide, the Boxsters are 24mm. If you used a Boxster S rotor (28mm), you can get away with it. But, Boxster parts cost more than 944, so why not just get the 944 Turbo rotor? The Boxster caliper is easier to fit to that spindle because it's radial mount. The 944 caliper is axial mount, so the space gets a little tight.

I got the mounting of the caliper sorted, so no problem there. They are originally rear calipers so they use 24 mm rotors.
Today I took some measurements, and I think I got everything covered.

Thanks again!

i just discovered that the discs that i thought were 299 ny 28
-are in fact 280's
-off a 944 turbo but with iron calipers, but discs that sit overe the face
-the hat depth is 75mm - 11 inch disc, and 26ishmm

-i want something similar but 305=plus
