I want to use Fuchs alloys in 16x6 and 16x7's over 944T brakes. Will it work?
I understand that some may not be deep enough. Help me out folks.

It'll work, but you need the 16" Fuchs wheels that are from the 944 (ie, has a 951...part number). If the wheel has a 911 part number, then the caliper will foul the back of the wheel spoke. I guess it may work with the 911 wheel and spacers, but I've never tried.

I've tried 7x16's, and with a 20 mm spacer they just fit.. Only just.
Why not Late 15's? They fit like a glove, no spacer..

Rex,
I've tried a bunch of 15's; cookies (6 and 7) Fuchs (5.5, 6) and have had trouble between the caliper and back of the spoke. What wheel have you run to clear the T caliper?

I remembered wrong before.. I use 6x15 late Fuchs with a 10 mm spacer.
