Cool deal! We have someone in KY (Mikey on forum's) If you can get a few more "GL recruit's"... a new chapter could happen ;) . The prez will post here soon I'm sure (NO_H2O). Incase you haven't already... go to www.volksport.net , and sign-up. So, we can go through the "official" procedure of sign-up for club.

Wrench is correct. If you go to www.volksport.net there is a form to join that will be emailed to us. You will also find all the point/grading system for the cars. You do not have to have a finished car to join the club. Mikey is a member in KY. He is building a Ghia w/Subby power. We would be glad to have you with us.

Welcome to the Gruppe.
You will have a good potential market for CF products here.
If you look at the VKG2007 post you will see some of the events that we plan to attend this year. Hopefully we will see you at some of them.

I'm here. :D
Nice to have a fellow GLer a little closer. It's always fun when I can attend a show in the south, although I don't make many. There are a few shows up north where I do attend. I'll get some dates for you. I didn't post them on the show thread because most of the VKG is in the south.
Welcome to the club.

Trying to join the group and the link is dead. Any ideas? I have a 71 German Look soon to be on the road and would like to meet with a few of you. I meet ZEN at the show in Carrolton last spring and talked with him a while about my project. Almost complete.

Sorry, but the VKG site has been dropped. (low traffic, and not enough time to keep up) We use this forum in the club section for now. Club is still going ;) though.

Well, I was hoping "The Prez" of the club would have jumped in here. I guess PM him. (NO_H20 on here)

Anyone can join the club, you only need an interest in the German Look style. The car must have a well balanced combo of upgrades to be badged as a VKG car. Our club site became more of a pain than it was worth so we took it down and use this forum to communicate. We have a points system for mebers vehicles and need to post it as a sticky thread. Feel fre to email me with your info. dave@dtmengineering.com and we will go from here.
Sorry for the delay. I have been wide open with work.

I got the info from Zen. I will need to look it over and paste it to a thread and make it a sticky. It will be a couple days as I just started my 3/12 hr. days for this week.
