Chromed gas burners on 944S brakes

I've read lot of discussions, but found some things that are not too clear to me...

The thing is: I would really like 15's on a Bug (bad roads, I like the look, more comfortable for road trips etc. etc.)

Allready bought suspension from 944 S 1987' (I think it's 1987, it has alu rear arms, correct me if I'm wrong) with single pot calipers which I intend to use for some time. Allready mounted front brakes (using your info from germanlook :D )

I would like to use gas burners (found them for 200 US Dollars, but shipping costs will kill Me because I'm in Europe, and Cip1.com is US company)

1. Will they fit on this brakes?
2. Will they fit rear because I intend to use stock fenders and alu arms?
3. What is the best main brake cylinder to use in this combo?

PLEASE be precise, if I buy, there's no way back!:confused:

That's alot of pressure. :)

You didn't mention what year is youre car. But, in general with the 87+ aluminum arms you will have too much offset increase to fit those wheels under stock fenders. With an early 944NA setup, and those 15x6's, you car just fit with the wheel in the back with a conservative tire choice. In the front, do the standard 2 or 3" narrow beam, and you're fine. The wheels should clear the calipers, there may be some small 'spacing' required to insure the spokes don't foul the calipers. I'm not sure how the replica wheels are cast. BTW, there is a place in the UK making those wheels.

Use a 944MC.

I've found out some new info...

There's 20 mm increase rear, so tires go outside. I will think of something, widening maybe... I'll see...

Wheels should fit the caliper fine...
