Aftermarket seats

hi guys! need some advice here has any of you guys tried to fit a pair of recaro a8's into a bug?

I have some recaros that I'm now fitting into my bug, they are not a8's (I'm not sure what they are?) but they fit no problem. I fabbed up my own brackets for them. and am welding in plates into the floor to support them. I had to remove all the stock seat brackets to fit them in. My seats are 22inchs wide in the widest part and I have a few inches to spare. This is all in my 57 on a late style pan.

thanks for your help!i'll probably do a mock up and hopefully it fits!

I don't see why the wouldn't fit, stock seats are not exactly narrow seats. JR
