Going to Wolfsburg in 2-3 weeks. Who's in the area?

Hey all. Work (VoA) has me going to Wolfsburg in a couple few weeks and I'm going to have some down-time in the evenings and such and wanted to check out something other than our factory. Any recommendations? Any shops I need to visit to get something I can't get here in the good ole' USA?

All I know is that I need to go to the ring and museums... that was my requirment my wife will be satisfied with shopping ;)

Sorry can't help you out with Wolfsburg. I was in Germany this summer travelling the west side. Stuttgart for the Porsche museum and Remmelle, Nurburg to driave/lap the 'Ring, and Dusseldorf to visit GWD. Wolfsburg was like a 8hr trip eastbound that i didn't have time for. Driving up/down the Rhine was pretty cool too.

I'll be there for work, but I'm going to try to stay an extra day or so to go check out some cool VW / motorsport related spots. A trip to Remelle would be slick. I could smack the #$%@ out of them for all the crap they've pulled on our bretheren here on the GL Forums.:agree: Then worship the welder they work with:D
