Not sure what you're getting at. Billet hubs? Mucho deniro.

You can use early 944NA's or 86 944T's with some bearings spacers under the bearing cups. Turn down the od to match your rotor and you're set.

If you can clarify what you are looking for, I can advise further. And yes, I can make any hub.

ok, i have 951 hubs, I am having them cut to take oversize bearings, -to fit type 2 - or early 944 - this is because i want to run 996 discs and calipers

-now this all works out alright, but i have to use a 928 gts front disc, as its offset is 77mm

-now the 996 discs are 68mm

-so basically, i don't want the head ache of clocking and boring

-fitting oversized bearings -still with a spacer under the outer

-i just want a billet steel hub -150 by 100mm

-but with the wheel face 'about' 12mm farther inboard

-cut for type 2/n/a 944 bearings, but with the wider spread of the longer type 2 spindle

-and with the type 2 grease seal cut in

-plus utilising the stock type 2 grease cap

-so all you'd really need do, is find a type 2 hub -72-79
-copy it, for bearings, its bearing spread, grease seal and cap

-but cut into it the wheel face flange, 12mm inboard, drilled for 130mmpcd
-studs from the rear -'steel hub'

-on a type 2 there i sno 'ribbing'

-drill and tap for the disc location screws

-wrap them and send them to the uk!!!
:D

-then i can get back my 951 hubs from the machinist, get back my £100 i paid for them
-and get back my £80 he wants to machine them

-give the money to you!

-ps whilst you were setting them up, you could also make some radial adaptors

-ps be aware the 986 -boxster and the boxster 's' =996
-front calipers are different

-the 2.7 boxster uses a 305mm disc at 24mm -68 offset

-the 's' and 996 =318 by 28 -68mm

-the actual caliper is wider for disc girth
-plus the cast in mounting lugs are farther out = half the difference in disc size

-I know i could use a mercedes disc on the stock hub, and run an adaptor
-but i do not want the 25mm plus track increase

-i want a track reduction of 12mm over stock

-ie the stock type 2 discs overall width is 82-86mm

-if i can run a 996 disc at68mm, then i am narrower 18mm per side

-thats 3/4 old moneyish

-seems the best solution as

-i have early 944 hubs -now, large discs are not available for the bolt to backs, I have cut a 3 series e34 disc and fitted it to a n/a hub - but i don't like it

-plus i need 318mm / 28 -the discs are cheap

-plus i have tried getting a 944 turbo 951 hub on a type 2 spindle - i am in the process, but alas it then may turn out to be even more expensive, as i will have to get the 928gts discs, or the 965 turbo -then actually cut them thinner

-pah

so thats why:D

-stock spindle
stock seal
stock bearings
stock disc
stock caliper

custom hub
narrow track

True. Makes sense. I can do it, but I prefer billet aluminum. I'd need the disk centering size, and the hub center for the wheel. Roughly the damage will be $C600 (270 British pounds) for the pair. If that doesn't scare you off, then get ahold of me..lanner@vdubengineering.com
