I'm thinking of texturing the floor of the pan, including the inside of the doors and undercarriage. (places that will not be visible after restore) I will take off the tarboard on the floorpan, texturize and use dynamat type material.

Has anyone else done this? If so what are the pros and cons?

I was thinking of using the texturizer on the ceiling and on the firewall (both sides) as well. Hopefully this will decrease the road noise as well as give more strength to the material and a more solid sound when i close the doors.

I used a product called por-15 for the floor, and covered it with a dynamat type material to deaden sound, it is much quieter.

Thanks Wrenchnride, this is exactly the type of product I was talking about. I was wondering if anybody had experience putting something like this on their car.

This seems to be the way to go. rock on!

It's still kinda new so, there might not be anybody on here that's used it yet. I will be using it on mine soon. :D
