Anyone know or can point me towards runout specs for Porsche discs?

What kind of brakes do you have? I will se if I could find sometings about it.

They are actually 95-98 Porsche 993 rear discs mounted on modified 944 hubs (to fit beetle bearings). Too be honest it could be the runout spec of any large disc. I need to check them when mounted on the modified hubs..

Hello

if I'm not mistaking too bad, I think acceptable runout it's something like 0,10 to 0,15mm, more than that I think it will cause much vibration on the steering wheel on braking, especially on fixed calipers (not sliding) like the rear that you mention

Here I found something for your 993 discbrakes

Brakediscs minimum after machining
dimension wear limit
front 30,6mm 30,0mm
rear 22,6mm 22,0mm

Thickness tolerans of brakedisc
0,02mm (new 0,01mm)

Lateral runout of brakedisc max 0,05mm
Lateral runout of wheelhub max 0,04mm
Lateral runout of brakedisc when installed max 0,09mm

0.05mm or .002" .Any more and you may have problems.
