I was looking at the race taxi pictures and realized that if i was to extend the roll cage to the back end of the car and used this to brace the rear end yyou could suspend the engine and gearbox off this doinga way with the frame horns aswell as the shock mounts for the suspension ,the only serious problem i can see is the length of the rear arms from the torsion bar housing .
What do you think alot of work for not much advantage or ahuge leap forward in comparison to the 944 irs suspension with coilovers i have now .
Your input will be appreciated especially anything i may of overlooked
cheers jon

if ytou have 944 i.r.s i don't see any reason that 911 stuff would be better, its the same concept of design but the 944 stuf is the right length for your car to have a similar track and wheel base that your car had factory, i would say that unless your doing like a stretched custom mid engine bug there is no reason to change. i had looked at doing 911 or 944 i.r.s on my notch and decided that the 944 stuff was a perfect fit and the 911 stuff was waay different not only the mounts but the way they mounted to the spring plates was different as was the e-brake hookup.
