I just found two of these in my toolbox and I assume they're from the suspension I pulled from an '85 944, but I can't remember what purpose they serve. Can anyone tell me? I didn't use them, but I don't want to lose them if they're something I should keep.

It's one of the upper torsion bar to body mounts. They are of no use (unless you're building a 944 ;) ).

awesome, thanks!

i think i might build a 944 with a full super beetle drum brake swap and my rusty, narrower trailing arms. it's cool if brakes have patina too, right? :p

Hi

Don't chuck them out, they might be useful for something, maybe an exhaust hanger?

yeah, i will keep them around because they're well built and in good shape, and i'm sure that the moment i no longer have them i'll find a perfect use for them.

i was hoping they'd be some magical mount for the rear sway bar that'd allow me to put it on my '79 easily.
