can anyone give me an idea of how much power a 228mm flywheel/clutch can handle. i have a 1.9 turbo and the 215mm flywheel/clutch is slipping. i need something that can take 200~bhp. this is in a bug, daily driver so not light, cheers

According to KEP http://www.kennedyeng.com/volks_pp.htm the stock 228mm setup holds 200 ft lbs.

cheers, now gotta work out if that gonna be enough. prob be on the limit. who's using a standard 228mm and running a lot of power?
