OK the 10th annual Petit Le Mans week is coming up quickly. Oct 3-6 with the big ALMS Petit Le Mans on the 6th.
How is planning to go? I plan to be there for the 6th for sure. The owner of Herbie X is planning to pick up Herbie on the 4th or 5th and taking it to an event in Fla. on the 6th. Road testing started yesterday and is going well.

We will be there starting on Wed the 3rd. Our RV Spot is between turns 8 and 9 on the outside of the track. (Space #41 I think)

We will also set up a canopy in turns 10A-10B like we did last year. If enough people are planning to come, we can set up 2 canopies there.

Got my 2 day tix and car pass today. I will have to take car of delivering Herbie Fri. morning and early afternoon, then we will be off the road atlanta. Not sure if we will be in the Bus or the Pinz.

I'm on the fence at the moment. Have to look closer at finances. Summer has not been kind to me. Will let you know.

I have my tickets for Friday and Saturday as well as a camping pass.
I originally bought both a parking pass and a camping pass but Road Atlanta was kind enough to call me and tell me I did not need both - great service - saved me over $40!!!

After major surgery on Herbie's transaxle yesterday (replaced both axles, fulcrums, bearings, axle tubes and boots we solved the only real major problem we had with the car. Today I will tweak the alignment and fab a tool box mount. Then we are back on track to deliver it to the owner on Fri. morning. Nancy and I will see you at the track Fri. night or Sat. morning. We will more than likely bring her Pinz.

Sweet! See you 2 there. And expect to have a crowd around you if you drive the Pinz. It's like a rolling car show everytime we go somewhere in Jake's.

We took Herbie and the Pinz to the Summit car show last night. We had lots of folks around both vehicles asking lots of questions.:agree:
Just stopping for fuel in either one will take 1/2 an hour.:laugh:

Had a great time hang'n with all. My boy couldn't hang for the whole race though... I guess five hours is all he can sit for. He had a good time though. See'ya at Eurofest! :D

I had a good time at the race, it was good to hang out and watch the cars and the vendors.

Great time, great race. The last hour was a thrill ride. Penske has the Porsche Spyder RS dialed in. Nic to see a P2 car kicking the P1 cars. I sure did miss the Aston Martin team this year.
