Street Beats Pull Back Rag Top

I purchased a new (fiber glass parimeter frame) canvas rag top kit from Streetbeats Custom and was wondering if anyone has installed and owns one of these installed in there car. The instructions detail installation on top but also mention mounting from the bottom I think this will look a little more like the origional.

A friend of mine installed one on his '67. They are supposedly prone to leaking but his doesn't. (He demonstrated with a hose at full force.) His work is maticulous. I considered doing this on a Fox wagon I ended up not buying. I'm sorry I don't any details of the install, though.

thanks i hope to here from some others before i make the "cut" !! i think the a pillers and the roof are the only parts on my car that i havent had to repair so i kinda want to keep them. So if anyone knows anything else tricks etc i would appreciate it
