New Toy/Daily Driver

I mentioned in my build thread I got a new toy that was kinda responsible for a lack of progress and here it is! It's a 73 super beetle sport bug edition (a la our version of the GSR) in saturn yellow with the original wheels and interior!

He's got a fresh 1600dp in him and pulls really strong. This is my new daily driver and I have had a blast every day I drive him. I've already done a few mods including 6000K HID lights in H4 conversion lenses, and a new stereo system (sub, amp, cap, speakers, ipod). So what do you do with a 34 year old classic with a fresh engine? RACE IT!

I took him out to a local autox in marina CA, and had a blast! not the fastest car out there, but I wasn't the slowest either! Beat 15 other cars including an evo, sti, miata, and an ls1 powered rx7. Just goes to show a fast car does not a fast driver make. Here's some videos of my runs at the autox...
