So I decided to see how my 17's that I have left over from my WRX look on the bug:

I think it looks pretty bad-ass, but it will give me even less steering :(

The back *barely* misses the bolt on the springplate, and this is with the spacers that I use for my 15s...

The backspacing on the 15s is 5", the 17s 6"...

It also means I need to re-drill my drums and rotors as this is a 5 bolt rim.

Anybody else running 225s on a standard ? How did you work it out ?

Rob.

Yup, Rota Attacks if I remember correctly.

The lease on my WRX was up, and I didn't really needed a car (for work) at the time, plus there wasn't really another car that compared (for the $$), so I decided to go car-less for a while and put some extra money in our house (and the bug ;)).

I miss the WRX though.... :(

Rob,

My super's are 17x7.5? with 205's on the front and 235's on the rear. Stock fenders. I think the back spacing on the rims are 42, can't remember.

I can pull a rim off and look if need exact specs.

Get Lanner to redrill and stud.
