Hi bugluv
I parked near you in Canberra last year in my sons 1303. I put the same seats in my sons car that you have.

Haha no worries - "Basil" would have enjoyed witnessing a beerfest I'm sure.
Dont suppose you caught a bit of Basil in any other photos that you havnt posted?
And to keep this thread on track I'd like to recommend V-force to anyone considering parts etc - they have been wonderful and patient with me and my un-ending questions, and all parts have been of the highest quality.

Hi bugluv
Sorry that was all I took, I checked my photos from Canberra as well, but we got there very late and I think you were leaving at the time.

Great pics! Thanks, nice to see so many interesting projects in one spot. Did he like the way the center seating racer handled? Are those stock VW spindles on his double-wishbone setup?

Hi
He's still building the single seater, it uses late Type 3 front spindles. You can read about the build up here http://www.clubvw.org.au/dak_to_the_future.htm
