This question is for all the Porsche suspension guru's. Do 911 rear control arms fit an IRS pan? I do recall in a article of VWT that the 930 control arms bolt right in. I know that 944 parts are more common and less costly so might be why they are so popular.

Exactly the 944 AL arms I have seen are going way cheap where as the 911 crap is overly expensive. Makes the choice easy in my book.

Granted I am not certain 911 arms would even fit???

Hello Nick!

911 rear arms to bug ?
FORGET IT !!!
924/944/951/968 is the only way to go.Steel and alloy narrow and wide are available. They are everywhere and cheap to obtain.
911,930,964,993,996 rear arms are completely different shaped and the don't fit.
I think you talking about the 935 "style spring plates" in the VWT.

Hey Jim,
I do remember about a year and a half ago VWT did a GL issue and one of the guys was running a 930 rear control arms/brakes and the caption said they bolt right in, I could be mistaken. I'm going to dig up that article tonight. I am putting 944T control arms I was just a little curious.

Jim your right, April 2002 VWT they said 944 trailing arms bolt right up to IRS bug. I guess my memory is going.
