I think Jake and I are gonna roll up in the vert. It's only a couple of hours from the house and we've been trying to make this show for years.
What the hell is up with that case Laz? Full of Gremlins?

Don't know if we'll be in my car or the Boxster now....:(
Looks like the land speed car needs to borrow the distributor from the vert and we land speed race the next weekend (25th). So, the vert might be shy a few too many parts to make the trip to Euro Fest. But, we should be there anyway.

I'm in. Will be cruising up with my Dad (he's bringing his Speedster) and another guy in an Alfa. See you up there.

Good to see everyone and hang out after so long. A little chilly, but a bigger and better show each year. At least the non-stocker VWs got a little more respect this year. The crowds and questions never died down and I counted at least a few more that will be in the GL pool by this time next year. The rest of you VKG'ers were missed. Oddly, I had more than one person say they had heard about the club and wanted more info.

Glad good times were had by all. I was in the shop working to get Two VKG rides going. (rust repair on mine and parts for another members ride) So, maybe mine will be there next year. Then, Nigel and I could look for some more cars with plywood floors :lmao:  ;)

We had a great time! We won't miss this show again.
I think all the VKG cars got a lot of attention...and I think it was positive attention...not that "what the hell did you do that for" attention we sometimes get at the VW shows
Hope to see you guys soon.

1. Agreed on Laz's new look. I mentioned there, but probably not enough. I think it improved the looks of the car DRAMATICALLY. But it comes down to personal taste.
2. Agreed with Beth. That is why I hit very few VWs anymore. Besides seeing the same cars at every show, as evidenced by the curiousity questions and the voting at Euro, the general public gets it more than the typical VW person. I still enjoy seeing the VW crowd when I hit those shows, but it is nice to change it up.
