If I can get a copy of that VHS tape I can convert it to NTSC and then afterwards get it digitized.

Are not European VHS tapes on PAL format and American tapes on NTSC?

My brother is into video production he could transfer the digital files to cd or vhs. That would be amazing, I will pay to get those videos from austria. Please send us the videos.

What I meant was if you can make me a PAL VHS copy of your video and send it to me I can then get the video converted to NTSC and afterwards digitize it to post it on the site. I can send you a copy then of the CD holding the MPEGs.

ok guys, shipping costs for the video tape from europe to canada or usa are 14 euros!
I can to this for you if I get the tape back with the expenses after someone of you copied and convert it!
Now I need an address from someone who make this job reliable!
I've had good deals with american guys before, so I hope you VW freaks don't disappoint me!

The European PAL format VHS tapes will not work in an American NTSC VCR/Player. The best thing, and easiest for all, is to have Alex convert it.

I will pay for the conversion. It is done by a shop in Toronto.

Why not make a copy of the original and send the copy to the USA. Thats a one way trip. Saves 14 euros on return shipping. :idea:
