It was a good meet ... I ordered all the items I needed for my 901 shift rod project and they arrived last night :agree: so I know what I will be working on this weekend.

I also modified my code for my datalogger to include a shift light :laugh: comes on when the engine rpms reach 5500.

i'm not able to PM you so:

i have aluminum rod in 1' and 1/2'. which is 25.4mm and 12.7mm. i can turn down the ends of the 1' rod to 15mm, but the rest of it will be huge. i think the 12.7mm rod will work as your using set screws, and its not a press fit. want to give it a try? i'll continue looking for some 3/4 rod, so it's not bulky as the 1' rod will be.

After the meet, I sat down and redesigned the system, and had to order some u-joints, they arrived a few days later. I've got the rod basically fabbed up now from mild steel tubing. Hope to install it soon and see how it works. If it does not work smoothly, will have to look at this again.

What where those throttlebodies that had the same bolt pattern as the IDF's? I found a set of GSXR ones that look close...
