I have cut all the orginal material in the top section.
Maked a new board for my gauge.

Its hard to explain it in english *lol*

Aha, I thought it was some special version of carbon fibre...

So, did you just do a wet lay-up with a single top skin of carbon fibre cloth and resin or do you have access to vacuum bagging, ovens etc etc?

ok, i use a online translator:

The carbon is over laminates.
I removed first whole plastics on the top side of the dashboard, to catch up my own dashboard. Afterwards take place the rough cut the carbons fiber from one piece.
The instrument panel is rough properly and degreased afterwards with silicone remover.
Subsequently, I coated the instrument panel thickly with epoxy resin.
Carbon fiber Mate now evenly without folds present.
Next Coat wet in wet.
be aware that there are no bubble or folds in the carbon fiber.
Now we will waiting that the epoxy will be dry (2 Days at 20°C)
You must now use 200 Sandpaper to rough the epoxy and remove the dust with silicon remover.
Next step: a new coat with epoxy.
Wait another day to get the exopy dry.
Now you can use 200, 400, 600 Sandpaper and polish the epoxy.
At last you can use Clear lacquer to get a fine coat.

Hope you can understand what i mean....

Its a wet up-lay, no vacuum.
If you work very clean, theres no need for a vakuum bagging.
The epoxy will work under 70°C so you can use it in your car.
Better results will be with a vakuum bag and combustion chamber from your painter

Thanks, it makes sense now, how long did it take you to get a finish that good, must have been a lot of work!
