I happened to speak with Zen today. He read this and again stated that this part of the story is not true. He is not going to post because he has said all he is going to say. As far as the rest of the above account according to Superman. I could not say. Given how far James had had to back pedal from "I created and have always owened germanlook.com", a few more backstrokes might be needed to have a beleivable acount. The thread in question is still on SBO and there has been no public apology given on either forum for slandering us.
The link to my website on the germanlook tunning page has been removed and I am happy about that. That you Bugorsh for relaying my feelings on that.

I have stated all I care to as well. We have told the truth, acted honestly and acted within the bounds that Superman gave us. I can not speak about the money that many gave to James to keep this site up and running as we have not had any of it transfered to us and I do not have a dog in that fight nor do I want to be a part of it.

Please no more of Supermans acounts of how things were started or who created what or who owned what. They have been picked apart and there is not enough merit left there to argue over. Please do not do anymore speaking for Superman. If he wants to say something let him say it. You are a good member here and a good person and you do not need to be flamed because you were given bad information to post for someone who could not muster the testicular fortitude to do it on thier own. Don't put yourself out on them limb anymore. We can all hear it cracking.

So, why won't Superman come into this discussion and answer to all of this personally? Is he so busy that he has to have a mouthpiece to do it for him?

Germanlook.com was created really with a lot of money of the GL community.
We all gave money to Superman to get it going. Supe had personal problems back then and the site was going nowhere.
To those that originaly donated to Superman I apologize that I forgot your names to give you credit.


This when Sandeep and I took over which I did discuss with Superman and he was totally fine with it.
Ownership of the domain transferred then as well.
Even when Sandeep and I discussed the passing the site along there was always an understanding between the two of us that the site belongs to the community. Advertising cost were kept low (100$ per year) so that only the cost of running the site was covered. The forum software was bought by me.

I was very lucky to partner with Sandeep on the site and I believe that was the reason that germanlook.com got such a good start.

Well.....I do not drive a beetle anymore....I still have (technically) an aircooled VW (NSU was taken over 69 by AUDI which was/is owned by VW....so if you guys need help I am willing. ;-) It is hard for me to let go and see something struggle along which some of us worked and fought hard for.

I know this site is a hand full to keep up and running. We don't have anyone to hand off to right now so if we devide the work between us so that it is not more that any one person can handle, maybe we can keep it rolling along. I will do what I can. It will not be the first time I had to learn something new.

I went thru some withdrawel when the site was down. Then I saw Germanlook.com becoming a store. I got a note that Boxergruppe went to TunedPerfection for a forum so I registered there.
I should start posting stuff about my NSU TTS. Not quite the same but rear engine aircooled it still is and within the family of VW.

Trying to achieve 1300lbs with 150-160hp.

This is just the right kick in the pants I needed.

I got an email from Superman and PM from Bugorsh a few days back. I have been told that Superman will refund any money donated to him for the Germanlook forums fund. If you donated money to help convert the forums and keep them running before thay went down. Please email him superman@germanlook.com .
He also stated the he was sorry for his actions and sorry about the post he made on SBO. I ask for a public apology both here and on SBO since the post about how we brought this forum back was done in public. He said he would do this. I am looking forward to seeing it. The bad thread about us on SBO has been removed as far as I know.

He can keep my money for SBO site, or something. It's all in the past now. I would really like to see a "public post" from him though. I will not post comment's about it... just let him explain his actions, and be done with it. :)
