Hi
My 911 headlights just arrived from the UK, I also ordered a Xenon kit. I've temporarily given up on adapting the Hella modules that I have. Steve |
steve. any chances you could set the lights up & show us what they are like for both high & low beam, compared to the lights in daves bug maybe? im curious to see them, shame i wasnt at yours one day later, heading home to reality tomorrow, such a shame!

Does anyone know if the Airkewld HID kit provides for both high and low beams? |
Hi
I can do that, just need a bit of time to do a proper test. Might even do a youtube video. Steve |
I found these a while ago, and have been thinking about trying a set once I've got a little more money set back. Thought maybe you guys would be interested.
http://www.prostreetlighting.com/pro...RSION_KIT.html http://www.prostreetlighting.com/pro...RSION_KIT.html There are a few different HID options in the dropdown menu |
Looks good but for us non sealed beam pre67 headlight owners it wouldn't work.

I see that the HID conversion is also advertised but as I said earlier most conversions are 'for off road use only' in Europe as our Regs require a tight pattern control on the HIDs that the conversions cannot guaranttee especially with older glass patterned lenses. Clive |
My plan was to use a standard 60's sloper headlight but just adapt the Arkewld HID bulb units to fit the reflector. Anyone got a view on whether this would work?
Of course I don't yet know whether those items have the facility of a high/low beam option. I guess I'd better mail Pete at Arkewld and ask. |
