An other weekend passed without working on the car, but we had great fun on a local trackday. I was co-driver in the Z4 and we were chasing friend's 1303  Both cars are daily drivers, the bug performed very well!

Note the white connectors...the first seats are heated now, this will be the only heating in the car. A lot lighter than other oprions :D

Didn't like it on the roll, but it looks very Golf GTI on the seats. Going to look really smart when done

Wheels came out awesome!

Hi

The wheels look great. What is your car colour called? With those seats you should get a Scottish ringtone LOL They look really good and go with the car colour.

Thank you guys for the comments!

Sorry for the crappy phone pictures, I'll make better ones next time.

The seats looks more vivid in real, and I feel this tartan theme period correct as not just the GTI but also Porsche used plaid fabric in the '70s (bigger checks would be even better)

Btw, colour is Kasan Red (L30B), an original one for '71-'72 or '72-'73. It will be fully polished when fenders are on.

car has really turned out steller so far. i love the plaid on the seats. so much that i now need to recover my seats...lol. keep up the awesome work man.

I gave up with plastic fenders and started to make my owns from metal. They weight a lot more than fiberglass, but at least can be custom widened.

With current wheels it needs +2 cm in front, +5 in rear. Thanks for Ricola for the useful infos on his website, it helped a lot.
