i'm obviously a little scrambled this week. just getting to this post. i talked to jake today. i have to run up there this weekend to drop off the header since i forgot it last time. hoping to head up there mid-next week to hang out for the dyno. let me know if you want to go dave. probably wednesday or thursday. all that assuming i can cut out of work for the day since i lose monday already.

the tranny is right behind it. chuck is saying about 2 weeks or so on the car. i am going to see about installing a CSP cup brace if i can find someone to weld the brackets for me without having to drag the car everywhere. if i can workout the timing i will see if chuck can do it.

need to hook up with carbon joe on the decklid now and i will really be rolling. oh yea, then there is the 944 suspension thing.

I'm excited too!! This is the first official engine running the conversion combo of this 2316 engine, it is based on the same engine as my 914, just a tad less CR and a cam profile change, and a tad bigger exhaust valve!

Yeah, we'll race! But remember I TRY to break my engine..LOL and its in a 914, so you'll get me in the first 3 gears-maybe......then, well 3rd is my power gear, its good for 100MPH, easy......when I hit third, you'll become a speck in the mirroer fast!LOL

i got some video. it will take me some time to convert it though. i am out of town for a week and i don't have the hardware to convert it right now. defintely will though. check out the RAT forum for specs on how the engine did today.

zen, I've got the hardware to convert the video on the way to the house (need to convert kids video's to dvd for the wifes van)

Let me know and we'll get it converted to digital.

cool. that is the same reason i was going to buy the hardware too. i have tons of videos of the kids i need to convert.

Convertere box was $89 from Tiger Direct, we'll see how well it works.

only since you know how to fix what you break. :) it will be coming up there to hit the "mountains".
