My Car and soon future plans

I know It's not much to look at but this is my 73' 1302 Super, my first car when I turned 16 (had 1 other bug before that but it never made it to the road). Please ignore the flat tires, since buying the trubo twist 2's I figured the haell with it if I gotta move they hold air for a couple minutes. I took the pics at school Jones County Junior College in my Automotive Technologies class and I'm graduating this May.

And my new wheels ya'll have already seen them but I'm soo happy I thought ya'll needed to see them again.

As soon I get my grant refund (1st week of april supposedly) I'll be ordering topline maxx struts, putting together my 944 turbo brake swap, and getting porsche drilled drums (temporary) to fit my wheels. Does anybody know how much of a spacer I'll need for those 17" TT2's? Also do I need to swap my master cylinder for the 944T swap?

Looks like a good starting point. The wheels are sweet and the 944 Turbo breakes will be top notch. Keep plugging away at it.
BTW, a curved glass 73 is known as a 1303, even if it has the early Super struts.

Ok I always thought that the classification 1302/1303 was solely based on the suspension thanks for the correction.

Yup, your car is a very nice starting point and has a lot of potential.

You probably won't know what spacer you will need until you get the drums drilled and the MaXX struts installed. Someone may know if assuming the temporary drum brakes and similar disk brakes are the same if you could tell us the wheel's offset and width are.

I have MaXX struts on my '71. I think you will be pleased.

I can't help you with the master cylinder question. You might try a search on what others did with 944 brakes. If they went Porsche with the m/c, you might want to follow suit.

Keep us posted. :)

If you will be running 17x7 wheels with a 52mm offset and drums (temp brakes), I think you will need a 3/8 spacer on all 4. Top line has the spacers in 3/8 and 1/4. Zen has the 944 T brakes and if I recall we used the 944 MC on his.

Thanks I sent Zen a PM about it, now just if school would hurry up with my refund.
