Yes that is correct, its brand new crank. KS would be great or genuine german mahle.

70Turbobug May 28th 2013 05:10

They are no longer made.If you´re lucky you may find someone who has some originals in stock.Glyco is a good alternative though.

Ok, can you please verify that they are actualy geniune "german" ones and not brazillian? They are going in a high rpm, arpm cased race engine. I need highest quality. Whats you thoughts on Glyco as an option? Regards Brent

JIMP May 29th 2013 02:50

O.K. I will check this out, the glycos appear also a very good choice, we run them on our drag car with no problems although there is a slight diffrenece in the tolarances between them and the others, if I'm not mistaking they gave in general more tolerance than the others which was more favorable for our application, but problem is you have to have all the bearings available to decide which one to use, we had mahle, ks and glyco and the glyco was the one with the biggest tolerance so we decided to go with this but probably this is a unique case, maybe this is not a rule for the glycos I couldn' tell

Hi Dimitrios, One would asume they will be steel back as well? Cheers Brent

70Turbobug May 29th 2013 04:32

Yes,the Glycos are steel backed.Dimtirios is right about the tolerances, however, cases also have tolerances, especially if the case is a used case.
