I thought it was about time I put up some info about my bug, ive had it for 12 years and been in the scene for 32 years (old git):lmao: I love the German look, i have done all the work myself except building the gearbox. Me like it! I can spot ATS wheels, Type 1 power, Stainless exhaust, GWD central filter, LED Taillights. Are those Scat seats? Can see 4 spot front calipers? The ATS give a flair of Old School German Look!:D

Thank you, The wings are from Kerscher, the wheels are ATS Classics 7x15 fr 9x15 r They have allways been my favorite wheels, I also have the same rims on my Manx buggy:) The motor is a T1 2332cc here is the spec; 84mm Berg crank T4 centre. 5.5 Carrilo rods. Ally bubbletop case Fk 87 with berg 1-4 rockers Udo becker light lifters Dry sump oil system. 044 ultramags 44x37 CSP 48mm python 48 idf carbs+ GWD airbox. Cool ride. People often don't opt for ATS wheels, but they look cool.
Besides that, 15-inch or 16-inch can be even better that 18's (if you run normal, or just slightly abnormal brakes). If You can remember Christian Seltzer's 1303 RS... that's what I mean :) |

Always good to see a new GL on here. Congrats on a fine car and fine work. Prepare for a ton of more questions. That's the price you pay for showing off eye candy. :)

Tnx Dan. I like your rear-coil-over set-up. Do you only use the coil-over as the only load or are the torsion bars also still in place?
If you get a 4-point cage or better, you can run at the free driving track session in Spa as well next year. You know it ultimately is what you build the car for imho ;) |
