That depends on Nigel... I'm driving his '73 up so he can bring the T34 Ghia also. So I will be there in a VW... just not mine (or the one I hoped to get last month)

Just to confirm, I am out for the afterparty. :( Have to get home for my daughter's Homecoming Dance and spend some time with the family since I am leaving town for the week and have neglected them for the past few weekends working on the car.

How does everyone feel about meeting up at Discover Mills parking lot (I-85 and Sugarloaf) at 6:15? If that works, we would make one stop at Jefferson City to have another bug (Steve Gurr and his '62 stocker, friend of my Dad) join up as well. If not, the two of them are covering each other and I ride with the VKG. That puts us up there 8:00-8:30 I believe. I am up for just about anytime though, so you Southsiders let me know what is realistic for you.

Here is what I know of for the caravan:
Me in mine
My Dad in his
Dave and wife
Bert and wife
Nigel in the Ghia
Danny in Nigel's bug
Haven't heard back from Kat, but she is going up Friday night or Sat morning

Forecast is sunny 42/73. Woohoo.

NO_H2O October 13th 2010 15:55

See you at Discover Mills. I have told Bert about the meeting place and time.

Andrew and I are planning to be at the show but will probably not make your house Laz....may be a late decision but not sure, I also have to fly out of town on Sunday for the week.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the show.

Had a blast this year! Driving Nigel's '73 T4 powered T1 was great! Took lots of pix, but will just post a few. This is a VERY large show, and takes quite some time to make the rounds. I highly recommend this show!

Any one want 21's

Thanks again to Nigel for letting me crash at his place. And, letting me drive his T1 to the show so he could have his Ghia there also, and putting up with my smart a$$ nature. :lmao: Plus, his awsome son Andrew for putting up with me. They are great hosts.

It was a great show, great weather, great friends. Love this show. Lots of VW's came out and overflowed the "Mark Car" area. It is hard to see everything at this show in detail and you will see a very wide selection of cool cars.
I need to get my pix downloaded and sorted.

The cruise to Laz's place was cool. Several VW's took the back roads to Tony's place for a nice cook-out/party. It was nice to chill and crash there. Thanks to our great hosts. We got a lazy start on the day and had a good trip home.
