Lifted beetle group in Europe?
 

Ok so i know this is way off topic for this group, but does anyone know of the Club/Group in Europe i think, in which all the beetles are lifted but still retain full sheet metal, like the kommandeurswaggon? or the Class 11 baja?
I was telling a friend about them and he didnt believe me.

UltraVW featured a couple of Dutch cars a while back running type181 trekker/thing suspension and brakes, but retaining full street bug panels. One of them was either owned or built by Franky's VW Service. You could try looking them up for pics/contacts...

Kenfyoozed, I think I've found the club you are refering to: It's called the DAS club in Belgium. DAS has many seperate mini club if you like. One is california look, the other is gazer group (drag), and the one you are interested in is the DAS Mud. Look for DAS MUD at the adress attached.
