Engines in and working. One small problem
 
Engines in and working, the nasty clatter was the hydraulic lifters (we didnt prime them before fitting... Have now and its sooo much better).

Goes well, sounds lovely... But one problem, if I lift off when pulling up to a junction I have to catch the throttle, she keeps trying to die on me.
If I sit at the junction and gently hold her at idle speeds she idles fine afterwards.
Looks like i have a problem coming onto the idle circuit.

Engine spec: --------------------------------------------------------------------

Stock 2-litre crank and rods. Crank balanced with 914 flywheel and clutch. Flywheel lightened.
Rods balanced end to end and with each other.
Rods rebushed.
New Mahle 94mm barrels and pistons, pistons balanced in weight to each other.
Eurorace E-grind cam (280o Duration 435" Lift ) with hydraulic followers.
Bolt together rocker gear.
30mm Schadeck HD t1 oil pump.
t1 oil pressure relief valve.
Case machined by JMR along with the Porsche fan.
Stock T25 heads rebuilt with new guides valves worked to 42 intake x 38 exhaust, 3 angle valve job, port and polish.
BAS 911 fan fitting kit.
BAS oil filler tube.
BAS Carb linkage
Mallory Unilite optical with Vac advance (pair of grey springs)
911 bottom pulley.
LA performance fanshroud.

LA Performance J tubes and merge, custom made full flow stainless silencer system after the single triangular
flange.

DELLORTO DRLA 40' (9164.2.28 Emulsion, 10527.34.65 34mm choke, 10304.180.02 Long air jet, 7484.140.02 Main jet, 7644.55.02 Idle, 10927.35.02 pump jet)
CSP airbox system (with K&N filter)

Oil goes to large oil cooler mounted above and to one side of gearbox, thermostat switches fan on at 90oC

MSD 6AL ignition system, rev limiter set at 6000rpm.
MSD Blaster 2 coil (with MSD coil bracket).
MOROSO BLue Max ignition leads, tailor made to the exact correct lengths.

Any ideas?
Does the jetting look about right?

I also have a new set of 7644.60.02 Idles (60's rather than 55's... Worth a try?)
