Anyone try these?
 

I ordered dual solex 35mm from scat and found that the quality of the kit sucks. Afew weeks later I was looking through the local Mercedes benz boneyard and discovered the following carbs 32picb and 34picb both of which share the same bolt spacing as the dual solex carbs for vw and are just the coolest carbs with external access to all jets AND the build quality between these MB solex carbs and the crap scat is selling will shock you. They work very well on the vw engine. For the bus engine another MB carb I found which looked intersting is the 38 pdsit-2 which is also used by BMW. I am only pointing this out cos the man at the boneyard all but begged me to take em off his hands. The MB 32 paita (solex) seems to be exactly like the weber 32/36 and since they come in pairs it might be intersting to mount them on a type 4 engine just for the hell of it. Has anyone tried any unusual junk yard jewels like these?
