Suspension set up
 
Aside from coilovers, what else can I do to my 70 beetle to get better handling out of it?
Its not a super, so I don't have all the niftyness at my finger tips that you guys have.

Also, what models of Porsches wheels fit on a beetle?

I suggest you read this first as its provides a good base:

No Porsche wheels (except the 914) fit a beetle without adapters. The Porsche wheels are 5 stud 130pcd whereas the VW ones are 4 stud 130pcd.
The 914 was more a VW than a Porsche (that'll upset a few people)

lower it get your center of gravity down
chamber compensator
new bushings, urethane, all the front end ones
new steering box (if needed)
nice shocks
tires
sway bars
