HELP! one too many black wires behind dash
 

On MY 1972 S Bug i am trying to do some rewiring, having trouble with the black wire that comes out with the green that goes to the emergency flasher, the black has too many female connectors on it, this black does not go to the flasher though and the standard schematics does not show it, any answers from you kind people.

and can someone tell me what the male connector is that comes out from between the fuel guage relay and the speedo it sticks out there by itself and it aint the earth as that is stuck lower on the centre back of the speedo.

Please Help:confused:
