Yeah, I saw that, too. I hope they will include later year VWs -- especially Supers -- in the future. Sure looks nice.

What does the stock hood weight, mine doesn't feel that heavy.

Will that work on my 1969 if I weld on the front panel for the earlier beetle.??

That is a good deal, he also makes C/F decklids, just look at his other adds

i would like to know the weight difference. anyone in a position to weight a stock hood?

If it stops raining at my house I will push the car outside to get the hood out and weigh it on my scale.

I don't think it will weigh anymore than 20 lbs.

It looks like you have to cut out the vents though. I looked at the pictures and you can see the indentations for the vents but they are not there.
