Pro Turbo fuel tank adapter :)

ok, so this is the ProTurbo tank adapter im now selling :)

it has 4 X 3/8NTP outs, that ill allow from -6 to -10 :) so you can run two -10 out to your efi fuel pumps, a -8 return and a -6 to drain the fuel from your tank :) perfect
or
if you only want one out, just plug the ones your not using with NTP plugs

you can use the standard intank filter and washers :)

This it the highest flowing adapter out there, all the passages are as big as you can get from a stock vw tank :)

there £40 each

unfortunatly it wont fit a Super beetle tank, but if i have 5 or more requests il make some up :)

Shameless plug, but very cool part nonetheless :D

Doesn't fit a Super! Shame on you not incorporating this into the design in the first place! What were you thinking!! :lmao:

Do you have any installed pics? as I have a hard time seeing this before me. Is it a 'weld-in' type of thing?
Oh, I think I need a nice alu swirl pot to which I can connect the above part. Sell any of those too maybe?

TIA,
Walter

hi Wally, it screws strait on to the standard tank out(no welding!)

Super beetle has a 20mm x 1mm thread on the tank(if i can remember correctly! am i right?)

there is no other fitting on the market that does what this one dose for a stock tank, thats why im making them :)
thanks

And I just welded / drilled and tapped my tank last night for a -8 outlet.

You're 1 week too late Marco ! Very nice part BTW.

Not sure about that thread? I thought to remember that a superbeetle (or any late model) doesn't have screw-anything, but just a 5 or 6mm outlet pipe bronze-welded at the underside of the tank

I did remember filling the tank with water for the most part and welding on a 10mm pipe onto it as a main outlet to the efi pump and using the stock 6mm as a return line...??

Hi

Very good bit of engineering.

The early supers had a threaded bung to access the in tank filter, these were deleted in about 1973.

Could a similar unit be made that could be bolted to the bottom of a super tank, after drilling hole in the tank?
