Koni adjustment
I've got a late BJ/IRS Beetle with Beetle Koni reds up front, and Porsche 944 Koni Yellows at the rear.
If one were to be driving on a rural highway in the 90-100mph range, what setting would you recommend for the Konis? |
I have Yellow Konis on the back of my '79 '03. I settled for each being adjusted to one full turn back from Max (~2.5 turns Min to Max)

How is the ride on the rear?
I guess I could always set mine to full hard and see how it goes. |
The Koni web site has an excellent article on how to adjust your shocks. The only way you are going to get it to do what you want is to tune it yourself.
Hope it helps. |
The US Koni website is awesome I agree.
I went through the range, in half turn increments each weekend. I used the car back and to work and my car feels good, it glides like a modern car, compared to SA. I have scope, should I need it to damp the response of stiffer springs and a heavier engine. Matt |
set your shocks up for the roughest part of the track.
