very, very nice...in both cases. diggin the NB side mirrors (although it has to make vision near the A-pillar more challenging than it already is).
you have great tastes. |

I have to finnish my girlfriends 1302 Roadster this winter. |

The mirrors are from a German company called Projektzwo. ( http://www.projektzwo.de ) As you said, the A-pillars makes the difference between a good and a bad driver... ;-) |
What's up dude?
My name is Charles. I wanted to know if you have any pics of the installation of the fuel filler cap. I have a 1974 super cabrio, and I want to put on a feul filler system, and I just wanted to see how it was done. Oh by the way the car is "OFF THE CHAIN !!!!!!!" Thanks, Peace! |
Yes, I think I have some pictures.
You`ll need some parts from a MK1 Golf. Since I work for a local VW dealer I have the partnumbers for you... ;-) plate, part# 171 809 870 A fuel filling pipe, part# 171 201 129 F The cap I used is from Newton Equipment and I bought it from a local Harley Davidson shop. I`ll see if I can find some pictures when I get back home from work. |
your car has always been an inspiration to me.... I love it!!! :D :agree:
|
Thank you very much Vujade! :-)
TOW74: I havent found the pictures yet, but if you give me a couple of days I will! I had a pc crash a little while ago, but fortunately I have all pictures on cd. |
Take your time man I'm not trying to rush you. Oh yeah by the way I have the same size wheels as you, can you tell me what size wheel spacers you had to use in order to get the "SWEET LOOK THAT YOU HAVE". Thanks, Peace! :)
|
They are original Audi/Porsche Cup fro a Audi RS2. The wheels are 7x17" ET55
The tyres are 205/40-17" front and 215/40-17" rear. I used original Porsche spacers, 21mm front and 35mm rear. The brakes are from Kerscher with Porsche bolt pattern and I have Kerscher adjustable struts in front. The fit is very narrow, so you wouldnt get a pussyhair from a flie betveen the vings and the wheels... ;-) |
This is my beetle with the winterwheels fitted. It usually is not this dirty! :bawling:
