GL in Volksworld show 2011?
 

Any ideas, do we know whose car is this?
I was very pleased to see a GL in between the Cal Lookers. I am fed up with the Cal lookers and with all the VW magazines that have stories about them. What about the GERMAN LOOKERS? . I want to read about this car!!!!!!!!!

Car looks awesome, even from that small pic. Would not be surprised if it will be a feature car in Volksworld when its finished.

there is a thread on the chassis somewhere in these forums. 915 gearbox. type i efi turbo with watercooled heads iirc - saw it at volksworld - there are some very nice details on it!! its goin to be a great car for sure

Volksworld, Ultra VW, etc only deal with Cal Lookers, Resto Cal, etc. GL is something new, something foreign to them.

Not really they both feature cars when they come up, facts are not many GL cars get built so they have no features , vworld are always asking me , i just cant be arsed we are not in it for the big up, hell my own car collection could fill the pages all i got to do is say the word and they come up and do the features, vworld featured loads of GL cars in the 90,s under the title of the G files.

I have all the Volksworld GL issues. Tell them to do a feature on your white 1303. I am sick and tired of reading about Cal Lookers. I like them but after all these years I am fed up with them. I want to read about real GL's and not about beetles with big rims and tiny engines.

Like i said mate ive just got to tell them and they will do it, but iam not a mag whore, they did the black cabby last year, tell the world to start building more of them and they will feature them or put them in touch with me and ill pass it all on to Ivan hes a mate so no problem in getting anything featured.

I never said you are a mag whore. Since you know them it will be great to see a proper GL on the magazine.

Why do you want to see it in mags ????? most cars that are being built are on here way before any mag features.

I do think of the Gl community thats why i post pics on here when i have the time, and Dave already has a thread about his car on here;)
